Recruiter – Mining (Middle East)

About the role

As a Recruiter you will play a critical role in scaling Atoms' teams across the Middle East and beyond. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for field engineering and field operations roles supporting autonomous haulage deployments, including on‑site rotational positions at mining operations in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end recruitment process for Field Engineering and Field Operations positions.
• Partner with leadership and site managers to define hiring needs, calibrate technical talent, and align recruiting strategy with deployment timelines.
• Build deep pipelines across three talent pools: mining operations leaders, field service/mechatronics technicians, and robotics/software engineers.
• Market‑map mining, heavy‑equipment OEM, automotive electronics and autonomous‑vehicle sectors to uncover talent that rarely applies through job boards.
• Sell the demanding proposition of FIFO rotations, rugged site environments and five‑day onsite work.
• Drive strategic hiring initiatives to improve time‑to‑fill, increase hiring quality and support aggressive deployment plans.
• Use funnel data and insights to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows and maintain a high bar for talent.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably hiring technical, field or operations talent for mining, heavy industry, construction equipment, automotive, robotics or autonomous‑vehicle companies.
• Working understanding of the roles you’ll hire for, able to discuss mine production cycles, DBW kits, CAN diagnostics or embedded Linux debugging.
• Experience recruiting for remote, rotational or site‑based roles and familiarity with GCC labour markets (Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East) is a strong plus.
• Proven success managing high‑impact searches across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Strategic partner able to influence engineering and operations leaders, advise on talent markets and drive clarity in role definition.
