About the role

The Human Resources Department at Zayed University is seeking a Recruitment Selection Manager to lead the university's recruitment and selection unit. This senior role will oversee international and local hiring of faculty and staff, ensuring efficient, service‑oriented delivery aligned with the university's mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead international and local recruitment programs to attract qualified faculty and staff.
• Provide advisory HR services to managers and leaders on recruitment matters.
• Guide recruitment planning, resourcing, and implementation of best‑practice strategies.
• Manage end‑to‑end intake of new employees from acceptance to campus arrival.
• Ensure the online application system functions effectively.
• Partner with Deans/Directors to drive recruitment of UAE Nationals and support Emiratization mandates.
• Collaborate with line organizations to define staffing requirements and track progress against staffing plans.
• Develop relationships with regional search partners and coordinate local recruitment efforts.
• Design selection matrices, conduct managerial interviews, and maintain a ready pool of qualified UAE Nationals.
• Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires and continuously improve them.
• Align recruitment activities with approved positions and coordinate with Finance, CAFO, and Faculty Affairs on budget matters.
