Recruitment Specialist – Construction Roles

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to manage end‑to‑end recruitment for construction‑industry roles while supporting key HR operations and onboarding activities. The role works closely with project teams to meet manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring and employee mobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination.
• Recruit for engineering, construction management, MEP, commercial, planning, site supervision, and both skilled and unskilled positions.
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to understand hiring priorities and manpower needs.
• Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, referrals, and industry networks.
• Assess candidate qualifications, project experience, salary expectations, and availability.
• Maintain candidate pipelines, accurate recruitment records, and regular hiring progress reports.
• Oversee employee onboarding, joining formalities, induction, and probation follow‑up.
• Coordinate with the PRO on visa, work permit, and documentation requirements.
• Support the maintenance of employee records, personnel files, and HR system data.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment.
• Proficiency with HRMS tools, platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Knowledge of construction roles, project structures, and manpower requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet project hiring timelines.
• Experience supporting HR operations for office and site‑based employees.
• Good understanding of UAE Labour Law and employment procedures.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication and organisational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
