Regional Business Controller

About the role

Our client, a global listed organisation, is seeking an experienced Regional Business Controller to provide financial leadership across the UAE, KSA, Egypt and India. Reporting to the Regional Business Line Director, you will combine commercial finance, business partnering, FP&A and financial control to support strategic and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as finance partner to regional leadership, delivering commercial insight, challenge and guidance.
• Lead regional forecasting, profit planning and month‑end performance processes.
• Produce high‑quality management reporting, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Country Managers and operational teams across multiple markets.
• Support commercial projects, bids and tender evaluations with financial and risk analysis.
• Drive working‑capital performance and cash‑generation initiatives.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reviews, capex processes and both statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with global reporting standards, controls and governance.
• Promote continuous improvement, process optimisation and automation in regional finance activities.

Required profile

• Western‑qualified finance professional with strong commercial finance, FP&A, financial control and business‑partnering experience.
• Proven track record supporting multi‑country or regional operations.
• Excellent analytical ability to turn financial data into actionable commercial insight.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a large, international organisation is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
