Regional Commercial Director - Luxury Beauty & Fragrance

About the role

An established international beauty group with a significant presence across the Middle East is recruiting a Regional Commercial Director based in Dubai. This is a senior leadership appointment responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening market positioning and developing the business across a diverse regional landscape. The role suits an established commercial leader who combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with an understanding of how prestige beauty businesses operate in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of the business across designated Middle Eastern markets, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability and market development
• Develop regional commercial plans tailored to each market and set annual targets and growth priorities with regional management
• Oversee relationships with retail partners, distributors and commercial accounts, lead negotiations and annual business agreements, and review distribution arrangements
• Assess market expansion opportunities, propose new initiatives and partnerships, and evaluate new product categories and brand introductions
• Work with regional marketing and brand teams so that commercial activities support brand positioning, and partner on launches, promotions and retail activations
• Own regional commercial budgets, sales forecasts and financial objectives, monitor revenue and margins, and work with Finance and Supply Chain to improve forecasting and inventory planning
• Improve retail performance across department stores, beauty chains and boutiques, and collaborate with Education and Training teams on product knowledge and selling capability
• Support digital and omnichannel growth with online beauty retailers and digital distribution partners, and coordinate pricing and promotion across physical and online channels
• Lead and develop commercial teams across the region and provide regional commercial insight to international stakeholders
