Regional Financial Controller – MENA

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will lead finance operations across Elevate’s MENA entities, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls and compliance. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will manage a team of three and provide forecasts, cash‑flow visibility and analysis in a fast‑moving, project‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and year‑end close for all MENA entities, delivering accurate results and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations, cash‑flow reports and provide commentary on material movements.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts and intercompany balances, ensuring IFRS and Group policies are applied.
• Lead statutory audits, coordinate external reporting and support treasury functions including cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital management.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, billing and accounts payable to minimise unbilled revenue and overdue receivables.
• Develop and optimise NetSuite processes, automate finance workflows and document key procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of ten years’ relevant finance experience.
• Extensive controllership experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory and management reporting, audit, tax compliance, treasury and working‑capital management.
• Proven experience in a project‑based services business, preferably within sports, entertainment or agency sectors.
• Hands‑on, commercially aware, highly organised and able to communicate financial issues clearly to non‑finance colleagues.
