Regional Regulatory Affairs, Policy & Process Manager

About the role

The Regional Regulatory Affairs, Policy & Process Manager will lead the design, implementation and oversight of the regulatory compliance framework for the Health line of business across the UAE and GCC. The role acts as the primary subject‑matter expert on healthcare and insurance regulations, providing strategic guidance to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve regulatory policies, standards and procedures aligned with UAE and GCC requirements.
• Advise senior management on complex regulatory matters and deliver risk‑based recommendations.
• Manage relationships with UAE regulators such as DHA, DOH, MOHAP and CBUAE, handling all engagements and correspondence.
• Lead regulatory change assessments, impact analyses and implementation plans to ensure business readiness.
• Oversee licensing, registration, reporting and compliance monitoring activities, meeting all deadlines.
• Drive governance enhancements, root‑cause analysis of breaches and remediation of audit findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Risk Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance or risk within UAE health insurance.
• Professional certifications (ICA, CRCM, CAMS, etc.) are highly preferred.
• Proven experience interacting directly with UAE regulatory authorities and managing regulatory relationships.
