Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit (CCU)

About the role

The Royal Khalifa City Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Critical Care Unit (CCU). The role involves delivering safe, compassionate, and individualized care to critically ill cardiac patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, develop and monitor individualized care plans, and record vital signs.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and provide wound‑care management.
• Assist in CCU procedures such as DSE, EEG, TEE, CAG, PTCA, IABP care, cardioversion and pacing.
• Provide nursing care for mechanically ventilated patients and execute life‑support interventions.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work across departments when needed.
