Registered Nurse - Dental Experience

About the role

HealthHub Clinics, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with dental experience to join its multidisciplinary team at a new clinic in Dubailand, Dubai. The nurse provides chairside clinical support to dentists and delivers safe, compassionate, patient-centred care, working closely with dentists and the wider clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional chairside clinical support to dentists during treatments and procedures.
• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and materials before procedures.
• Assist with general and specialist dental treatments within your scope and competency.
• Maintain patient flow, monitor patients and give reassurance before, during and after treatment.
• Give patients pre- and post-treatment information and care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic clinical records.
• Support stock management and ensure dental materials and consumables are available.
• Work with dentists, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team, following infection prevention and control procedures and DHA requirements.

Required profile

• DHA registered nurse licence or DHA eligibility letter.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification nursing experience.
• Previous hands-on experience in a dental clinic or department and chairside assistance.
• Fluent English and good computer and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to commute to Dubailand, Dubai.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and infection prevention/sterilisation procedures.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Preferred: experience with more than one dental procedure, outpatient or medical-centre experience, patient education, diverse patient populations, additional languages, and immediate availability.
