Registered Nurse - NICU Services

About the role

Fakeeh Health, a healthcare group founded by the founders of Fakeeh Care Group in Saudi Arabia, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its NICU services in Dubai. The nurse delivers high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health through physical examinations, vital signs and symptom monitoring, then develop and update individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and provide wound care including cleaning, dressing and infection monitoring
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and prevention, and advocate for their needs and preferences
• Respond to medical emergencies, follow emergency protocols (codes, RRT) and conduct purposeful patient rounding
• Maintain infection control standards, including hand hygiene, PPE use and participation in infection surveillance
• Keep accurate patient care records and communicate with patients, families and the healthcare team
• Provide emotional support, respect diverse cultural backgrounds and participate in ongoing training
• Oversee junior staff and nursing students, and collaborate with physicians, therapists and social workers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience; staff with less than one year join the RN residency program (Fakeeh Graduate)
• License from the country of origin and a practice license from the regional regulator (e.g. SCFHS / DHA)
• BLS, ACLS and other LSTC courses as applicable
