About the role

Healthway Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is looking for a compassionate, skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join its healthcare team. The nurse provides direct patient care, ensures a safe and effective treatment environment and works with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to established nursing standards, including physical exams and health history assessments
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by the physician
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs, and adjust care plans as needed
• Provide wound care, assist with mobility and manage pain control
• Communicate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team, and document care in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans and recovery
• Follow infection control protocols and report changes in patient condition to the attending physician
• Advocate for patients' rights and provide emotional support during treatment and recovery
• Keep up with nursing practice through continuing education and departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; the listing also asks for a preference for Tagalog speakers
• Knowledge of patient assessment, critical thinking and nursing interventions, with good communication and empathy

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
