Registered Nurse – Long Term Care

About the role

Amana Healthcare, part of the M42 network, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its long‑term care team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age‑related conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on individualized care plans, including health assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care.
• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses and nursing assistants.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with infection control, safety policies, and regulatory standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies and advocate for resident rights and dignity.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in medical/surgical or ICU settings.
• Valid DOH/DHA license and current Basic Life Support certification.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medical/Surgical nursing expertise.
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience.
• Health assessments and vital sign monitoring.
• Infection control procedures.
