Registered Nurse - Surgical OPD

About the role

Mediclinic is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its Surgical Outpatient Department (OPD) at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai. The nurse provides and coordinates patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care while complying with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-professional team according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in line with clinical risk policies and procedures.
• Create a conducive environment for positive patient experiences under the guidance of nursing leadership.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build their competence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a Surgical OPD.
• Experience in the UAE or the Middle East.
• Basic Arabic language skills.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
