Regulatory Compliance Manager - UAE National Only

About the role

Emirates NBD, a leading financial services group in the UAE, is seeking a UAE national to join its Compliance team as a Regulatory Compliance Manager. The role focuses on handling all Non‑Product‑Specific Policy Approvals (NPPAs) received by the Compliance function, ensuring they are reviewed, documented and presented to the Compliance Leadership Team (CLT) in line with the NPPA Terms of Reference.

Key responsibilities

• Review and advise business units during the initial NPPA call to guarantee a complete and clear submission before the CLT meeting.
• Conduct detailed NPPA reviews against applicable CBUAE and SCA regulations, notices, and prior compliance precedents.
• Track action items and conditions arising from NPPA reviews, follow‑up with owners, and escalate overdue items to the Senior Manager.
• Provide timely regulatory compliance advice to business units and support functions.
• Translate regulator‑issued documents received in Arabic.
• Supply senior management with accurate, contextual regulatory advisory feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; additional compliance certifications are a plus.
• 4‑6 years of experience, including at least 3‑4 years in a regulatory compliance role within banking.
• Strong understanding of CBUAE and SCA regulations and banking products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of interacting at all management levels.
• Proven stakeholder‑management, negotiation and influencing abilities.
