Regulatory Specialist – Middle East Support

About the role

ChampionX is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to provide Middle East regulatory support for its chemical products. Based in Dubai, the role works within the Global Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with regional chemical regulations while supporting business growth across the Middle East and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret and communicate regional chemical regulations to internal stakeholders.
• Support product registrations, notifications, exemptions and regulatory submissions to local authorities.
• Prepare and maintain safety data sheets, product classifications, labels and compliance declarations.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product regulatory status and chemical inventories.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Technical Services, R&D and Commercial teams to assess regulatory impact of product or formulation changes.
• Assist with hazard communication in line with GHS and local requirements and maintain regulatory data in SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship or chemical compliance within the chemical industry.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate technical regulations into business guidance.
