Relationship Manager – Emerging Corporates

About the role

The Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead its Emerging Corporates segment in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of corporate clients while actively acquiring new business to meet the bank’s financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of Emerging Business Banking clients in line with profitability and growth targets.
• Identify, solicit and acquire new corporate relationships to expand assets, liabilities, trade, treasury income and overall profitability.
• Analyse client financial information to prepare detailed credit proposals and recommend suitable credit facilities.
• Conduct regular client visits, generate business, and monitor portfolio performance, ensuring timely call reports.
• Develop account plans, cross‑sell retail business banking products, and generate referrals to other business lines.
• Ensure effective internal and external communication to meet service standards and client satisfaction.
• Oversee credit administration, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring and documentation follow‑up.
• Comply with internal policies, credit guidelines, audit requirements and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate or business banking relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and credit risk.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction and internal coordination.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting sales and profitability targets.
