Relationship Officer - Home Finance Customers

About the role

ADIB Group is hiring a Relationship Officer for its Shaikh Zayed Road branch in Dubai, focused on home finance customers. The role manages product and service functions so that customers receive quality service, the bank's image is projected positively, operational controls are maintained and service efficiency keeps improving. The position is open only to UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Handle home finance deposit account enquiries, including opening and closing accounts, completing forms correctly and following KYC policies and CB instructions
• Close home finance customer complaints and make sure customers are satisfied with the service
• Meet turnaround times and, where possible, exceed customer expectations; keep customers informed on the status of their queries
• Coordinate with other departments professionally and deliver service skills support and coaching to colleagues
• Take part in regular review and development meetings with key stakeholders
• Comply with bank policies, perform key operational controls and cross-sell ADIB products to home finance customers
• Achieve monthly budget targets, respond to internal audit and ICD comments, and obtain positive customer feedback

Required profile

• Minimum 0-2 years' experience in a customer relations or similar role in a banking environment
• UAE nationality only

Required skills

• Broad knowledge of ADIB's retail banking products and services
• Thorough knowledge of ADIB's retail credit and operational policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks, and of Central Bank of UAE regulations
• Training, sales, management information and computer skills
