Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

About the role

Amazon Operations maintains and optimises technologies across the Global Amazon Warehouse and Delivery Network. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role ensures safety regulations and policies are followed, that preventative maintenance is carried out on time to a high standard, and that equipment availability is kept high through continuous improvement. The position involves a non-traditional shift pattern that may include nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise health and safety in all work and comply with all health and safety standards and regulations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and fix issues efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers.
• Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
• Manage contractors.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience of at least 1 year.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics and communication, instrumentation and controls.
• Preferred: 1+ years of conveyor, automation and control systems maintenance experience.
