Remote Junior Endpoint Security Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Remote Junior Endpoint Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. You will help protect laptops, desktops and other devices from malware, unauthorized access and suspicious activity while working closely with IT administrators and senior security professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor endpoint security alerts and notifications.
• Investigate suspicious files, processes and device activity.
• Support deployment and maintenance of endpoint protection tools.
• Review device security settings and ensure configuration compliance.
• Identify outdated software and missing security updates.
• Document incidents and escalate complex cases to senior analysts.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of computers, operating systems and IT security concepts.
• Interest in endpoint protection, malware prevention and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux fundamentals.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.

Required skills

• Microsoft Defender or similar antivirus tools.
• Endpoint detection and response (EDR) concepts.
