Senior Applied AI Engineer

About the role

We are building AI‑powered solutions for travel, tourism and business automation. As a Senior Applied AI Engineer you will take AI use cases from concept through to production, combining large language models with enterprise data and workflow automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, semantic search and function calling.
• Build secure REST APIs and backend services with Python and FastAPI, integrating WhatsApp Business, CRM, email, accounting platforms and third‑party APIs.
• Create intelligent workflow automations using LangGraph, n8n or similar, adding human‑in‑the‑loop controls for quotations, bookings and financial transactions.
• Deploy production‑grade services with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging and cost‑optimized AI usage.
• Participate in technical discovery, rapid prototyping, client demos and convert prototypes into maintainable production solutions.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with production experience in Python, FastAPI, REST, OAuth 2.0, SQL/PostgreSQL and Docker.
• Hands‑on experience integrating commercial or open‑weight LLMs, building RAG pipelines, vector search and AI agents.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable backend architectures and automate business workflows.
• Experience processing documents (PDFs, spreadsheets, OCR) and integrating third‑party APIs.
