Reservations Agent – Dubai Marina

About the role

The InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences is seeking a Reservations Agent to join its dynamic front‑office team. You will be the first point of contact for guests booking rooms, suites, and event spaces, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels promptly and professionally.
• Process bookings in line with hotel standards and brand guidelines.
• Utilise up‑selling and cross‑selling techniques to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, packages and hotel facilities.
• Accurately record guest profiles, billing instructions and special requests.
• Assist with group bookings and coordinate with Sales & Events for special requirements.
• Liaise with Front Office, Sales and Revenue teams to ensure smooth communication.
• Monitor availability, adjust reservations and optimise inventory.
• Resolve guest issues and requests courteously and efficiently.
• Prepare accurate records and reports as required by management while preserving confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar reservations or front‑office role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Positive, approachable personality.
