Reservations Agent

About the role

Join the Reservations team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a luxury property within the Minor Hotels portfolio. You will support the smooth operation of the reservations department, ensuring guest bookings are handled accurately and promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, email or fax within two hours, and respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and the hotel’s selling strategy, rates, packages and group booking status.
• Drive upselling and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Update group rooming lists, billing instructions and special requests in OPMS.
• Apply the hotel’s credit policy to WHO and direct bookings.
• Create and maintain guest and company profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) following data‑entry standards.
• Generate daily trace/follow‑up reports and perform pre‑arrival checks (1, 3 and 7 days) to reconfirm bookings.
• Maintain administrative procedures to prevent double‑bookings, non‑guaranteed bookings and filing errors.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality, generosity and warm guest interaction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Responsibility for meeting revenue and booking accuracy goals.
• Understanding of credit policies and group booking processes.
