Reservations Agent – Luxury Beachfront Resort

About the role

As a Reservations Agent at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, you will be one of the first points of contact for guests, helping them plan their stay with confidence and ensuring a smooth booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle individual and group reservations, amendments and cancellations using the hotel’s reservation system.
• Respond to guest enquiries by phone and other channels in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Stay up‑to‑date with room rates, promotions, packages and resort information to provide accurate details.
• Upsell rooms and recommend suitable options to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Process reservations from travel agencies, wholesalers, sales teams and reservation centres.
• Coordinate with Sales, Front Office and other departments to ensure guest requirements are communicated correctly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong communication skills with a warm, guest‑focused approach.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer reservation systems and accurate data entry.
• Good reading, writing and basic maths skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple guest requests efficiently.
