Reservations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Reservations Manager to lead our reservations department, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering high‑quality service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the reservations team, coordinating day‑to‑day activities.
• Maintain accuracy of guest details, rates, and payment methods.
• Plan and organise daily operations efficiently.
• Oversee on‑the‑job and weekly training sessions.
• Communicate hotel and company updates to the team.
• Spot‑check previous day reservations and monitor VIP arrivals.
• Motivate staff, improve productivity and uphold hotel standards.
• Keep the department informed of changes in customer profiles, rates, promotions and specials.
• Assist the Revenue Manager/Director of Revenue with reports, duty rosters and related tasks.
• Support sales initiatives and maintain a sales‑focused attitude.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest and personnel information.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and local regulations.
• Participate in task‑force teams for new hotel openings.
