Resident Engineer

About the role

The Resident Engineer will lead and manage construction supervision across multiple infrastructure work packages, ensuring compliance with design, specifications and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall construction supervision for roads, earthworks, stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, electrical networks, street lighting, telecommunications, landscaping and public realm works.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary supervision teams, monitor progress against programme, identify delays and implement mitigation measures.
• Manage interfaces between infrastructure packages, contractors, utilities and other development components.
• Resolve design queries, RFIs, constructability issues and utility clashes in collaboration with the design team.
• Support the Project Manager and Commercial Team with variations, claims, EOT matters and payment applications.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of post‑undergraduate experience, including at least 5 years in a senior technical position.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, etc.).
• PMP certification and professional institution membership preferred.
