Resort Host – Luxury Guest Service Role

About the role

As a Resort Host at Banyan Tree Dubai you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm and seamless arrival and departure experience that reflects the elegance and personalised service of the Banyan Tree brand.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs accurately using the hotel PMS system.
• Escort guests to their rooms or resort areas and handle departure formalities efficiently.
• Respond to guest enquiries, provide information on resort facilities and local attractions, and resolve feedback or complaints.
• Coordinate room allocations with Housekeeping and Reservations, maintain up‑to‑date guest records, and process cash, billing and payment transactions.
• Communicate guest preferences, special requests and VIP requirements to Housekeeping, Concierge and F&B teams.
• Support front‑office reporting, handovers and smooth operations during peak periods.
• Follow safety, data‑privacy and brand SOPs, ensuring compliance with all front‑office procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Agent or Guest Service Agent in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of front‑office operations and guest‑service standards.
• Excellent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional presentation, grooming and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
