Restaurant General Manager – Beach Outlet

About the role

The Beach Restaurant at Kempinski Dubai seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead the outlet in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will work closely with the culinary team, oversee service operations, and drive sales while maintaining the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the outlet team, including Assistant Manager, supervisors, wait staff, hosts, and cashiers.
• Ensure courteous, professional service and uphold Kempinski standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and high product quality.
• Train staff on the outlet concept, menu, and service procedures.
• Identify and act on business opportunities to increase revenue.
• Operate and monitor the POS system, control supplies, and reduce waste.
• Perform upselling and present alternative offerings.
• Prepare performance reports and present them in monthly meetings.
• Manage costs, expenses, and budget preparation.
• Support talent development initiatives and provide continuous feedback.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager, preferably in a beach club, hotel or high‑volume casual/fine‑dining setting.
• Strong understanding of restaurant management software, P&L management and supplier relations.
• Hands‑on leadership style, energetic and people‑focused.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant management and POS systems.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and manage P&L.
