Restaurant Host – Mezzaluna

About the role

Join the Mezzaluna restaurant team at InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City as a Restaurant Host. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth service from reservation to seating.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring tables, wait staff and equipment meet opening standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all operating equipment.
• Uphold impeccable uniform and personal presentation in line with hotel policy.
• Greet guests, verify reservations, record them in the reservation book, or create new bookings with dining preferences.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and attend to any special requests.
• Handle telephone bookings accurately and document them according to restaurant procedures.
• Assist in training servers and runners following standard operating procedures.

• Friendly, welcoming and energetic personality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a polished appearance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a large team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
