Restaurant & Store Manager – The Walk Dubai

About the role

The Restaurant & Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bar/lounge, and room‑service areas at Jones The Grocer, located within Sheraton The Walk Dubai. This role ensures high standards of service, sanitation, and financial performance while supporting both guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day restaurant and bar operations, including staffing, scheduling, and guest service.
• Assist with menu planning and maintain sanitation standards across all food‑service outlets.
• Support servers and hosts during peak periods to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
• Determine training needs, develop and implement training plans for the team.
• Ensure compliance with all food‑and‑beverage policies, local regulations, and health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, etc., with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of service and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
• Experience with staff scheduling and training.
• Understanding of financial controls and cost management in a hospitality setting.
