About the role
The Restaurant Waiter will serve food and beverages to guests at Brunello Restaurant, delivering courteous, professional and efficient service in line with Kempinski’s luxury standards.
Key responsibilities
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software, order slips or memorisation.
- Communicate order details to the kitchen and serve food and drink promptly.
- Present menus, provide detailed information on portions, ingredients and potential allergens.
- Upsell menu items and suggest alternatives to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain tidy dining area, arrange table settings and ensure cleanliness of the work environment.
- Handle opening and closing procedures, monitor supplies and reduce waste.
- Address guest enquiries courteously and report any complaints to supervisors for follow‑up.
Required profile
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in an international luxury five‑star hotel.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS ordering software.
