Retail Buyer for Luxury Resort

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to source premium and luxury products for its upcoming 5‑star resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The role will support multiple retail locations, ensuring the product mix meets the expectations of high‑end guests.

Key responsibilities

• Research, identify and source luxury products across multiple categories suitable for a 5‑star resort clientele.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating pricing, payment terms, margins and exclusivity agreements.
• Set appropriate pricing, monitor sell‑through rates, manage markdowns and protect gross margins.
• Ensure fast‑moving items are replenished promptly and address slow‑moving stock proactively.
• Collaborate with store operations on planograms, fixture allocations and visual merchandising standards.
• Coordinate vendor registration and oversee the full product flow from purchase order to sales floor.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess presentation, identify gaps and gather feedback.
• Generate sales performance reports, category analysis and buying recommendations for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
• 4–6 years of buying or procurement experience in retail, preferably within luxury hospitality or premium lifestyle brands.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and financial planning abilities.
• Knowledge of the UAE/GCC market and consumer preferences is a strong advantage.
