Retail Design Director – Lead Innovative Store Concepts

About the role

The Director of Retail Design will shape the visual and experiential direction of our retail stores across the region. Reporting to the Retail In‑Store Design team, you will create immersive environments that drive customer engagement and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term store design strategy and brand‑specific style guides.
• Lead the creation and evolution of innovative retail concepts and immersive store experiences.
• Oversee implementation of new store concepts, brand takeovers, and design initiatives across markets, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Design standardized customer journeys and customer‑centric environments to improve navigation and interaction.
• Maintain and govern retail design standards, style guides, toolkits, and brand assets.
• Define and supervise standardized store layouts, fixtures, signage, furniture, and graphics.
• Act as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external design partners.
• Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and training for the design team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design or related field; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in retail design, including concept development and brand execution.
• At least 3 years of experience leading high‑performing design teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
