Retail Sales Associate – Customer Service & Merchandising

About the role

The Sales Associate represents the brand on the shop floor, driving sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will maintain store standards, support visual merchandising, and ensure a seamless retail experience in line with the Store Manager’s directives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, guiding them to products that meet their needs and converting browsers into buyers.
• Promote the loyalty program and educate shoppers on product features, benefits, and care instructions.
• Maintain a professional appearance, stay flexible for peak periods, and keep product knowledge up‑to‑date.
• Arrange merchandise according to visual‑merchandising guidelines and manage stock, especially clearance items.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, issue receipts, and balance the cash till at shift start and end.
• Record inventory movements, replenish the sales floor, and follow loss‑prevention policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous experience in a sales or retail environment is advantageous.
• Professional grooming, flexibility for extended hours, and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic cash handling and inventory record‑keeping.
