Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Miral Experiences, a regional leader in operating immersive attractions such as Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld, CLYMB and TeamLab Phenomena, is looking for a friendly, customer-focused Retail Associate. The role ensures smooth and efficient operation of the retail department and sells branded merchandise, souvenirs and photo products to guests using a computerised cash register.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, approach them proactively and recommend, describe and demonstrate products
• Handle the cash register, including barcode scanners, calculators and credit card machines, and process cash, vouchers, stored-value cards and credit card payments
• Keep the store well stocked, clean and safe, and maintain product displays and labels to brand standards
• Refill shelves, take product inventory and assist in quarterly and yearly stock counts
• Work on promotions and achieve set targets, and handle basic guest complaints on the spot
• Apply product knowledge and improve it regularly; carry out any other tasks needed to meet business needs

Required profile

• Higher secondary education or equivalent
• At least 1 year of operational experience in a guest or customer service setting
• Ability and willingness to engage guests, flexibility, and high levels of respect and integrity
• Able to work in all weather conditions and to lift items and climb ladders

Required skills

• English spoken and written
• Basic computer knowledge
• Desirable: theme park or water park experience, cash handling experience, and Arabic, Russian or Chinese proficiency
