About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer‑focused Retail Salesperson to join alzekra bookshop, a specialist in books and stationery. The role involves direct interaction with shoppers, supporting daily store operations and ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting books, school supplies, and office stationery.
- Maintain tidy shelves, restock merchandise promptly, and keep the storefront clean.
- Operate the cash register accurately and process payments.
- Use inventory and point‑of‑sale software (ZOHO and ALAMEEN) to manage stock levels.
- Provide product knowledge on genres, authors, and related supplies.
Required profile
- Good communication and basic English skills.
- Customer‑service orientation with a friendly attitude.
- Preference for prior experience in the UAE retail sector.
- Availability to start immediately is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ZOHO inventory software.
- Experience using the ALAMEEN POS system.
