Risk Management & Business Continuity Specialist

About the role

The Specialist in Risk Management and Business Continuity will lead the development, maintenance and improvement of the company’s risk and BCM framework. You will act as the first‑level subject‑matter expert, supporting senior management and department heads in building resilient processes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and update risk management and business continuity policies, procedures and supporting documents in line with ISO 31000 and ISO 22301.
• Support Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and maintain up‑to‑date BIA reports.
• Develop, version‑control and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Crisis Management Plans (CMP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
• Maintain risk and BCM registers, ensuring entries are current, owned and reviewed regularly.
• Engage with process owners and authorities to ensure compliance with the Risk and BCM Framework.
• Monitor framework implementation for AL TAIF and provide scheduled performance reports.
• Plan, conduct and evaluate testing and exercising of continuity plans, capture lessons learned and drive corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and advice to department heads on risk and continuity matters and support top‑management decision making.
• Promote a proactive risk and resilience culture across the organization while safeguarding confidentiality of all documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management and/or business continuity, preferably in defence, aerospace, manufacturing or a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of ISO 31000 and ISO 22301 and proven experience developing BIA, BCP, CMP and DRP.
• Experience with internal audit fundamentals and the IIA’s IPPF framework.
• Strong analytical, drafting and reporting abilities with advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio) proficiency.
• Technical‑writing capability and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 22301).
