Programme Manager – SkyKnight/Skynex

About the role

The Programme Manager (SkyKnight/Skynex) at EDGE leads a portfolio of high‑scale, complex projects, ensuring they align with the organisation’s long‑term strategic objectives. The role requires end‑to‑end ownership from concept through delivery, with a focus on budget, quality and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and embed best‑practice programme management processes, tools and standards for SkyKnight/Skynex.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate concepts and align project outcomes with strategic goals.
• Plan and oversee scope, milestones, resources, budgets and timelines across multiple inter‑dependent projects.
• Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditures and report benefits realised.
• Identify risks and opportunities, implement mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large‑scale Air Defence programmes in a defence environment.
• Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and third‑party negotiations.
