Risk Manager

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Risk Manager to join its Abu Dhabi project team. The role focuses on aviation‑related projects and requires a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities across multiple programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk issue and opportunity management process, including a risk matrix that maps dependencies and schedule impacts.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve dependencies and related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement and govern the Risk Management Plan, Risk Log, and associated reporting mechanisms.
• Track significant risks, ensure systematic identification, evaluation, active management, and regular re‑evaluation.
• Communicate inter‑program and external risks to stakeholders and update the Risk Log in line with programme status reports.
• Provide accurate, timely management information on project status, progress, and risk exposure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop risk matrices and assess impacts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey risk information across programmes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
