Rolling Stock Technician – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a Rolling Stock Technician to join Keolis.MHI’s Dubai Metro maintenance team. The role involves delivering preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of metro vehicles and support equipment, ensuring safety and reliability of the rolling stock.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Rolling Stock Team Leader with preventive and corrective maintenance, minor modifications and inspections of passenger, engineering, shunting vehicles and wagons.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, replace consumables, conduct technical cleaning and minor repairs.
• Test and calibrate electromechanical assemblies using specialised test equipment and replace electrical/electronic components.
• Operate metalworking machines, repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and verify dimensions against specifications.
• Execute time‑critical fault diagnostics and component replacement both on‑site and in the depot.
• Carry out wheel truing on under‑floor wheel lathe and conduct bogie overhauls at scheduled intervals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Provide support to the First Line Response Technicians team as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month of hands‑on experience in rolling stock or railway vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and follow strict safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
