Room Dining Waiter/Waitress

About the role

Located at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, The Meydan Hotel delivers luxury hospitality to leisure travellers, business delegates and racing enthusiasts. As a Room Dining Waiter/Waitress you will uphold the hotel’s Food & Beverage standards, provide personalized service and support seamless in‑room dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all colleagues’ activities adhere to and support The Meydan Hotel Quality Standards.
• Provide a link between kitchen and service areas.
• Stay updated with food and beverage knowledge required to carry out duties.
• Provide advice on food and beverages to guests.
• Receive and store food and beverages in line with food hygiene regulations.
• Monitor quality of food and beverages being served and report to the Outlet Manager or F&B Team Leader.
• Actively use up‑selling techniques to exceed guests’ expectations and increase revenue.

Required profile

• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are preferable.
• Experience in the hospitality sector or Food & Beverage department, preferably in a five‑star lodge environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects to fulfill duties and guest requests.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, courtesy and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong guest‑oriented service and communication skills.
