RTOC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking experienced RTOC Engineers to join our drilling and well construction team supporting operations across the MENATI region. This role focuses on real‑time drilling operations, directional drilling and logging‑while‑drilling technologies in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support real‑time drilling operations from the Real‑Time Operations Center.
• Analyze drilling, directional and formation evaluation data to optimise well performance and operational efficiency.
• Provide real‑time recommendations to field teams and stakeholders and collaborate with drilling, directional and LWD personnel.
• Identify drilling trends, challenges and optimisation opportunities, ensuring accurate reporting and data quality throughout campaigns.
• Maintain compliance with company standards, procedures and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in directional drilling and logging‑while‑drilling operations, or as a DDX.
• Strong understanding of real‑time drilling monitoring and optimisation workflows.
• Hands‑on experience supporting complex drilling operations, especially with Rotary Steerable Systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Geoscience or related discipline (preferred).
