RTS System Support Engineer

About the role

Join Keenfinity’s Audio Business as an RTS System Support Engineer, providing technical assistance and solutions for RTS products and professional audio systems. You will work closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot communication and audio solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and guidance on RTS products to customers.
• Assist the Sales team during engagements, project planning, and solution design.
• Review and develop scalable intercom system designs that meet project requirements.
• Analyse customer challenges, perform troubleshooting, validation, and propose technical solutions.
• Validate system architectures and support optimal solution development.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug RTS hardware and software, documenting issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system designs, and signal‑flow diagrams.
• Support customers with system commissioning, configuration, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales to ensure successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Network, Audio Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in broadcast, live production, media, communications or professional audio.
• Experience supporting complex customer environments from design through implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, highly organised and able to manage priorities independently.

Required skills

• Solid experience with technical support, systems engineering, broadcast technology or professional audio.
• Working knowledge of Dante audio networking technology.
• Familiarity with Audio‑over‑IP platforms such as AES67 and SMPTE 2110 Suite.
• Understanding of RTS RVON protocol and IP‑based communications.
• Knowledge of server virtualization technologies.
• Strong grasp of networking principles, protocols and troubleshooting methods.
• Proficiency in audio signal flow, processing and creating signal‑flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
