About the role

Tempo is a layer‑1 blockchain focused on stablecoins and real‑world payments. As a Rust Engineer you will help build the high‑performance, low‑cost infrastructure that powers large‑scale payment use cases. Tempo works with global leaders in AI, e‑commerce and finance such as Anthropic, DoorDash and Visa, and values fast‑paced, high‑impact development.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and ship complex features with a strong emphasis on performance indexing and benchmarking.
Own the full development lifecycle, collaborating closely with stakeholders, iterating quickly, and incorporating feedback.

Required profile

Significant experience building scalable, distributed systems using Rust.
Deep familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, especially the EVM, Execution Layer, reth and consensus mechanisms.
Self‑motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and capable of delivering concrete solutions.
Excellent collaborator and communicator.
