SaaS Business Development Manager - Aviation

About the role

A global software vendor is hiring a Business Development Manager to sell its SaaS platform into aviation across the UAE/GCC and wider region. You will own new business across airlines, airports, ground handling, MRO and aviation services, building pipeline and closing complex deals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a new business plan for aviation accounts across the UAE/GCC (and wider region as needed)
• Prospect, qualify and close mid-market to enterprise SaaS opportunities
• Run the full sales cycle: discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation and close
• Map stakeholders and navigate complex buying groups (Ops, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Finance)
• Create and manage a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting
• Partner with pre-sales, product and customer success to win and expand accounts
• Represent the brand at aviation events, forums and key customer meetings

Required profile

• Proven B2B SaaS sales experience with a new business focus
• Essential: aviation domain experience (airline, airport, MRO, aviation services)
• Track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a consultative, value-led sales environment
• Strong enterprise sales skills: discovery, objection handling, negotiation and closing
• Confident communicator with credibility at C-level and operational leadership level
• Based in Dubai (or able to relocate quickly)
