Safety Officer – Construction (Dubai, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Safety Officer to join our construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations, and supporting the project team in delivering work without incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement control measures.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports and safety plans.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local construction safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer on construction projects in the UAE.
• Indian nationality.
• Diploma in Engineering or Science.
• NEBOSH certification.

Required skills

• NEBOSH (certified safety professional).
• Risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Safety inspections and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations.
