Safety Officer – Facade Inspection

About the role

Meraki Group is looking for a dedicated Safety Officer specialized in façade work to ensure the health and safety of all personnel on construction sites. The role involves implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular safety inspections and audits to verify compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance on safety best practices and emergency response.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety records and generate performance reports.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper usage on site.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and implement required safety improvements.
• Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
