Sales Assistant – Retail

About the role
The Sales Assistant works in the market hall of IKEA Dalma, delivering a positive customer experience while supporting sales generation. You will help maintain a clean, organized sales floor and assist customers with product information and service.
Key responsibilities
- Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
- Represent a positive attitude towards the merchandise, brand, and company.
- Complete duties assigned by the shopkeeper, including product arrangement and inventory participation.
- Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
- Attend all store meetings and related functions.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to the designated work schedule.
- Follow IKEA policies and procedures 100%.
- Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and provide current, relevant information.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Physically fit to lift products and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
