Sales Assistant – Retail

About the role
The Sales Assistant will work on the shop floor of Toys "R" Us at Dubai Mall, delivering an engaging shopping experience and driving store sales. You will ensure the store remains clean, organized and welcoming while supporting daily operational tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Generate sales while providing a positive customer experience.
- Maintain store standards, cleanliness and visual presentation.
- Greet customers promptly with an energetic attitude.
- Provide accurate product information and assist with selections.
- Manage fitting rooms efficiently and follow up with customers.
- Operate the cash wrap, promote gift cards and capture customer data.
- Thank customers sincerely and encourage repeat visits.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1‑2 years of retail sales experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for at least 8 hours.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer‑aided design tools for store visuals.
- AutoCAD
- Sketchup
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
