Sales Coordinator – Oil & Gas Trading

About the role

The Sales Coordinator will support the commercial team by handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations and ensuring smooth order processing for oil‑field and industrial products. The role blends technical knowledge of oil & gas commodities with strong commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and analyse customer RFQs, technical specifications, quantities and delivery terms.
• Identify suitable products and source quotations from local and international manufacturers.
• Compare supplier offers on price, technical compliance, delivery schedule, warranty and payment terms.
• Negotiate prices, delivery dates and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare costing sheets, margin calculations and sales quotations.
• Follow up with customers on quotations, clarifications, order status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, finance and internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date supplier and customer databases, price records and quotation histories.
• Monitor market pricing, supplier performance and product availability.
• Support business development by identifying new manufacturers and alternative products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in oil & gas trading or industrial product trading.
• Proven experience in sales coordination, sourcing and quotation preparation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple enquiries simultaneously.
