Sales Development Representative – Fund Services

About the role

SS&C GlobeOp (SS&C), an independent fund services business with offices in several jurisdictions, is looking for a Sales Development Representative in Abu Dhabi. The role identifies and facilitates new sales opportunities across Europe and the Middle East and runs and manages sales campaigns for SS&C's fund services solutions. The base salary is negotiable.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, marketing campaigns, industry events and conferences
• Build campaigns with the sales lead to generate new leads and build a strong pipeline in the alternatives investment space (Private Equity, Real Assets, Private and Public Debt, Hedge Funds, Asset Owners)
• Qualify prospects quickly, book qualified leads and track all activities and touchpoints in the CRM system
• Follow up on prospects, prepare prospect engagement documentation (discovery calls, presentations, product demos, follow-up meetings) and write detailed prospect profiles for the sales team
• Build industry relationships, attend events and contribute to whitepapers
• Assist the sales team with reporting and help build the firm's brand

Required profile

• Preferred: hedge funds and private markets experience
• Pre-sales or business development experience in financial services technology, or experience working with financial institutions engaging C-suite executives
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field is advantageous
• Fluency in English; professional fluency in Arabic is beneficial
